Friendly, nice service. Food came quickly. Good quality, some technical errors that rate the otherwise good overall result downwards. Schnitzel with chanterelles is in the chanterelle sauce, which makes the breading of the schnitzel mushy, please serve the sauce separately. The roulade was dry and hard on the top, why not cover the roulade completely with liquid? So it would have been soft and tender all around. The dumplings are great, super velvety, very tasty. If the cook remedies these mistakes and spices up a nuance more tasty, you get 5 stars. Still gladly again.

A slightly smaller restaurant, but it has great charm. The menu is varied and the dishes were served quickly. Even in spite of Corona there was no lack of cordiality. The menu dealt with legends in the Spreewald, which only strengthened the bond with the region. We tried to answer questions about events in the vicinity as best they could, but without revealing too much content. We asked about the night watchman tour and were given detailed directions to the starting point, but what they deliberately kept from us was the fact that you can see the night watchman before the tour and thus gave us a more memory and surprise.

Food not so good ... had a schnitzel with chanterelles .. chanterelles they were great the schnitzel wasn't crispy 🙄

Preserve there several times, good Spreewald cuisine typical. Very good kitchen and great staff. We recommend.

Great traditional restaurant in the heart of Lübben / market square. Friendly staff, very good kitchen. Had a fish platter with steamed fish. A poem. Everything clean and tidy. Nice beer garden. Will go there again purposefully!

Great, good home-style food! We had excellent fish and a great dessert! Ms. Schubert served us wonderfully and also introduced us to the Spreewald world of legends! Completely satisfied !!!

Just drank something on the cozy terrace. Despite C. everything was great. Unfortunately, nothing eaten, but looked very tasty when looking at the other tables, as the other guests confirmed.

Today we had the pleasure of being served by Mrs. Schubert in the Golden Lion. An extremely friendly service who brought us closer to the specialties of the Spreewald. The dishes were delicious and the free tips for spending the next few days free of charge. We would like to come again. This is how you imagine hospitality. Thank you very much and kudos to all of the staff.

We quickly fled to the restaurant in June 2020 on a very hot day. There we were immediately greeted warmly and seated at a table with a fan. It was super nice, although we only consumed small things. Everything was very clean, including the toilets, very good. We then went there repeatedly and ate very well, were served very friendly and advised on excursions. Special requests were also taken into account in the menu. If we are close again, we will definitely go there again.

The food is simply amazing and the waitresses are lovely and kind! I loved the vegetarian schnitzel! 💕

Trip to Lübben (Spreewald), so of course we had to look over here. The time here is always nice. Super nice and courteous service, food again excellent and very adequate portion Price-performance is perfectly OK for me. We like to come back, keep up the good work.

Got a really rude first meeting during checkin because we had our little boy with us so we were 4 instead of 3 people for the 3 bedroom we rented. They also had the stomach to charge us 28euro for a 6 year old boy.....? Breakfast and the room were others fine but the receptionist meeting gave this pension just one losy star. This was our only remark about the boy on our 3-weeks long trip in middle of Europe. I would not recommend anyone to spend there money on this pension until they replace rude personal.
